This Week's Faculty Question
Category | Moderated Grading Tool |
Question: Can I have multiple TAs mark a single assignment and review their work at a later date? |
|
Answer: Yes, with the "Moderated Grading" tool you can have multiple TAs mark a single assignment. After the provisional grades have been submitted by the TAs, the final grader (i.e., the course moderator) can review and consider them when inputting the student's final grade. It is important to note that TAs cannot simply split up the marking duties of an assignment. For moderated grading to function properly, complete grades must be inputted by the TAs.
Please see "How do I add a moderated assignment to be graded by multiple reviewers?" to learn more about the process of using the "Moderated Grading" tool.
