This Week's Faculty Question
Category | Group Assignments |
Question: I would like to create group assignments. How can I do this in Quercus? |
|
Answer: The first step to creating Group Assignments would be to create a group set with groups with the People option in Quercus. If you would like to manually create and assign the students to groups, you can follow these instructions How do I manually create groups in a group set? Once you have your group set and groups created, then it's time to assign that group set to the assignment. If you have an assignment created, select “Edit” and under Group Assignment, checkmark “This is a Group Assignment”, and choose the Group Set you created earlier. In these settings you can also choose that each student in the group gets an individual mark. For more information, use the following Guide: How do I assign an assignment to a course group?
Once your TAs are ready to mark, they can use SpeedGrader to do so. Please have them see How do I grade group assignments in SpeedGrader?
