Volunteer at the EdTech Workshop 2023
The EdTech office is looking for volunteers to help us at the EdTech Workshop 2023: CTRL +Shift!
What are the event details?
When: May 17, 2023 | All day! (Or an AM or PM shift)
Where: Myhal Centre
What types of roles will volunteers take on?
We're looking for different kinds of help and will make sure you're working in an area you're interested in as well as comfortable doing.
- Registration (welcome attendees, find name tags, etc.)
- Session Moderator (introduce speaker w/a script, flash time reminder cards)
- Social Media (post to ETO's social accounts, post to your personal accounts)
- Photography/Video (take photos during the day, take B-roll)
- Directions (answer questions, show people how to find things)
- Floater (respond to one off requests, ready to help out as needed)
- and more!
Volunteers will receive:
- Breakfast/Lunch
- TShirt (or other swag)
- Co-curricular record credit (if applicable)
Closer to the event, we'll schedule a volunteer orientation session to review how the day will work and expectations around duties and responsibilities.
