This week: Avoid New Quizzes, submit your ideas, more system updates!

In this Weekly Update:

  1. New Quizzes
  2. Have an Idea?
  3. System Updates

New Quizzes

If you ever go to create a quiz for one of your courses, you may see an option for Classic Quiz or New Quizzes. If you don't see this option, that's perfectly fine - New Quizzes are disabled by default as Quercus is constantly working on updating it. However, we strongly recommend using Classic Quiz for midterms and final examinations.

Note that New Quizzes does not:

  • Have an option to create graded or ungraded surveys
  • Have certain rich content editor features such as content selector sidebar, accessibility checker, HTML editor, or media recorder
  • Support student analysis report and cannot be downloaded as CSV files

For more information, please see What are New Quizzes? and New Quizzes Feature Comparison. Once again, we strongly recommend using Classic Quizzes.

Have an Idea?

If you have a new tool that you think will benefit your teaching, feel free to submit your idea through the Tool Idea Submission Form. We're always working to incorporate more programs to give staff and faculty the things they need!

System Updates

The team is always working on fixing any system updates.
