Module Overview
Physical quantities, basic elements, common terminology and fundamental laws that underlie linear circuit analysis: Ohm’s Law, Kirchoff’s current law and Kirchoff’s voltage law.

- Definition of current, voltage, power and reference directions
- Learn passive sign convention
- Learn characteristics of common circuit elements
- Learn Kirchoff’s Current Law (KCL), Kirchoff’s Voltage Law (KVL) and conventions
- Apply circuit analysis techniques to simple circuits
- Series and parallel connection of elements
- Voltage and current division in resistive circuits
