Module Overview
We now begin calculus itself. In this unit, we look at limits and try to figure out what they are and how to calculate them.
Learning Outcomes
- Sections 2.1 and 2.2 introduce the idea of limits. Although there are few exercises in the book for these sections, the material they cover is absolutely vital. No matter how well you know limits, do go over these videos - your understanding of derivatives and integrals will be greatly aided by having a reasonable concept of limits themselves.
- Section 2.3 gets down to the business of calculating limits. There are a lot of little details, so make sure that you examine them carefully.
