Presentation Title:  (Implementation of Virtual Labs to Enrich Undergraduate Biology Laboratory Curriculum

I have a dedicated interest in improving the undergraduate student laboratory experience. This includes student access to technologies that improve foundational curriculum delivery and allow advanced laboratory practicum. I am currently interested in the incorporation of virtual reality (VR) to improve laboratory preparedness and safe lab practice. Further to this, VR platforms will allow students the opportunity to visualize laboratory reactions that are unobservable (i.e., reactions in a test tube), meanwhile strengthening the association between curriculum theory and practicum.
