Speculative Design as a Tool for Equitable & Curious Learning Communities (In-Person)

February 23 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

What if we designed our classrooms not only for today, but for the futures we hope to create? This interactive session introduces speculative design as both a creative pedagogical tool and a reflective teaching practice. Participants will explore how speculative design can be used to challenge assumptions, reimagine power structures, and cultivate curiosity within learning environments.

Designed through speculative design itself, the session models the very practices it seeks to teach, inviting participants to co-create new ways of thinking, learning, and belonging in the classroom.
