Cogniti is U of T’s platform for building course-specific AI agents: grounded in your content, aligned with your pedagogy, and deployed directly in Quercus. The Cogniti Drop-In Clinic is an open, drop-in session for anyone working with Cogniti, whether you are setting up your first agent or troubleshooting one that’s already live.
Each session opens with a short (10–15 min) structured walkthrough covering the essentials: defining your agent’s purpose, setting up guardrails, crafting your system prompt, and uploading course materials. After that, the floor opens up for live troubleshooting and discussion: guardrail tuning, prompt refinement, handling unexpected student interactions, or any other issue that you’ve hit.
