Module Overview
This module covers project controls, one of the most important aspects of project management. In this module, concepts of cost, time, and quality control are presented with an emphasis on tracking and understanding the cost and budget performance of projects.
Learning Outcomes
- Explain the role of project Schedule as a benchmark for measuring progress
- Differentiate between direct vs indirect costs
- Evaluate the time performance index for a project
- Calculate earned value for a project based on progress to date
- Evaluate the cost performance index for a project based on budgeted cost and earned value
