I am a PhD candidate at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Toronto and my MSc and BSc degrees are in Mechanical Engineering. My research interest is studying biomechanical structures using finite element modelling, image processing and machine learning. I have been a teaching assistant for many undergraduate courses including Dynamics, Mechanics III, Mechanics of Material, Advanced Mechanical Design and Engineering Math. My responsibilities included leading teacher assistant teams, leading tutorials and lab sessions. My teaching philosophy is to help all the students contribute to the class and ensure that no one feels left behind. People have different strengths and learning speed and as a teacher, I try to find multiple methods of teaching to reach all students and make the learning experience easier, engaging, and enjoyable for all of them.
