Dr. Ali H. Radhi is a Mechanical Engineering Post-Doctoral Researcher in the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering at the University of Toronto. Dr. Radhi is also hired as a sessional instructor for the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department at the University of Toronto, introducing the first course on 3D printing on a graduate level at the university (https://www.utoronto.ca/news/u-t-engineering-launches-3d-printing-course-prepare-students-booming-field). He is also: an Electro-mechanical Engineer in HVAC department, Behbehani Projects; Research Associate in Mathematics Department, Australian College of Kuwait; Project and event assistant in the Institute for Multidisciplinary Design & Innovation and final capstone showcase; Member of general trade and commerce, Behbehani trading group. Dr. Radhi has obtained his PhD. from the University of Toronto (Mechanical & Industrial Engineering Department), where he also obtained his M.Eng degree. Furthermore, he got his BSc. Degree from Kuwait University (Mechanical Engineering Department). His research areas are in Additive manufacturing, Multiscale modeling, lightweight structures, impact resistant materials, HVAC, rotary machinery, residual limb design in lightweight applications, and high-temperature ceramic composites. He has been awarded the Yacob Behbehani Sons’ Research Award for Excellence, The Award for Excellence in Academic Studies (Kuwait University), and the Award for Workplace Excellence (Behbehani Projects) (a total amount of $300,000).
