Allison Van Beek

Allison Van Beek was an integral member of the ETO from 2013 to 2025. Under her direction, the ETO evolved from a one-person office into an award winning, multidisciplinary team known for delivering thoughtful, impactful, and inclusive digital learning experiences. Most notably, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Allison led the Faculty’s emergency transition to online and remote teaching, ensuring rapid deployment of tools, resources, and supports for FASE faculty and staff. 

Allison now serves as the Executive Director of the Centre for Teaching Support and Innovation (CTSI) at the University of Toronto, where she continues to advance inclusive, evidence-informed approaches to teaching and learning.
