SUMMARY:CTL Celebration of Teaching Showcase 2026
DESCRIPTION:Overview\nCTL’s Celebration of Teaching Showcase highlights teaching excellence at UTSC. Each spring\, educators from across campus join CTL faculty and staff to celebrate teaching and learning\, share instructional knowledge and expertise\, and connect with faculty in other disciplines. \nThe event includes: \n\na plenary speaker\neducator talks\na poster session\nan afternoon reception\nmorning and afternoon refreshments plus lunch for in-person attendees\n\nThe Showcase also provides us with an opportunity to connect and build community with educators across the campus and is a tri-campus\, hybrid event open to all U of T instructors\, staff\, post-doctoral scholars and graduate students. \nDelivery\nHybrid (all sessions are in-person but some will have a Zoom option and the keynote address will be in-person with a Zoom option) \nRegistration\nThis tri-campus event is open to all U of T instructors\, staff\, post-doctoral scholars and graduate students. \n2026 Theme\nThis year’s theme is Navigating Complexity: Building Critical\, Inclusive and Reflective Approaches to Teaching and Learning. CTL’s Showcase brings together educators\, researchers and leaders who are rethinking teaching and learning in an uncertain\, rapidly changing world. Showcase spotlights innovative practices and ideas across three themes that: \n\nempower learners to question\, explore\, and co-create knowledge grounded in real-world\, authentic contexts\ndesign learning environments that centre human values and belonging\nadvance teaching and learning through innovation
