In this five-part Zoom series\, we’ll focus on the most impactful\, easy-to-implement accessibility fixes using the SLIDE framework—Styles\, Links\, Images\, Design\, and Evaluation. Each 30-minute session includes a 10-minute demo\, followed by time to apply what you’ve learned with guidance and support. Supporting various formats of presentation\, our studio has specialized professional equipment\, such as green screen\, lightboard\, video lights\, cameras\, microphones\, drawing tablets etc. \nCome visit the studio this summer!\nThe ETO is hosting a series of “Doors Open” (check out the studio and meet some of our staff) and demo sessions (learn about specific video setups) this summer for the FASE community to visit our space and ask us any questions about the different setups that we do. DESCRIPTION:Facilitators:\nCristina D’Amico\, Faculty Liaison Coordinator\, Graduate Student Development & TA Training\, CTSI/TATP\nMichal Kasprzak\, Assistant Director\, CTSI/TATP  \nJoin us for an engaging workshop where we delve into two essential frameworks for creating effective and inclusive courses: Backward Design and Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Participants will explore strategies for developing and prioritizing intended learning outcomes in course design and align these outcomes to assessments\, instructional strategies\, and student interactions. We will also explore ways to integrate core principles of UDL—multiple means of representation\, expression\, and engagement—to design effective learning for students. By the end of the workshop\, participants will be equipped to apply inclusive strategies to their course planning and enhance student learning experiences.
