This summer TATP along with Health & Wellness will be running a hybrid version of the Mental Health Foundations Certificate . This hybrid offering gives Teaching Assistants the added opportunity to learn about the stressors your students face as well as ways you can integrate wellbeing into your classrooms and tutorials.

Step 2. Register for workshop 1 – Understanding Student Stressors: A Workshop for Teaching Assistants and new faculty

We’ve all heard that student mental health concerns are on the rise but what does this mean for TAs and instructors? How can we support our students while also finding support for ourselves? In this 2 hour experiential workshop we’ll review the social determinants of health and equip you with campus and community resources. We’ll also practice some case scenarios for helping students connect to resources.

By attending this workshop you will be marked as complete for modules 3 and 4 of the certificate.
